ABOUT OUR PASTOR
Jonathan M. A. Wilson Carter I
QUALITY, INTEGRITY, EXCELLENCE
Pastor Jonathan M. A. Carter I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a graduate of the Academy of Health & Sciences in San Antonio Texas and the Chicagoland Christian Bible Seminary. Pastor Carter has completed a Bachelors requirement for Emergency Medical Science, and holds a Bachelors and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Masters of Divinity in Counseling with a concentration in psychology.
During his studies for his Master’s Degree, Pastor Carter served as Instructor for Graduate Courses and Junior Professor for Doctorate Courses. Pastor Carter also has completed four years of Architectural Drafting as a prelude to his work in Community Development. Pastor Carter also serves as the Moderator and Dean of Christian Education for the Illinois Baptist District Association.
MINISTRY LEADERSHIP
Mark Halk
Assistant Pastor
Mark Halk is a resident of Chicago and has worked with the Trinity Family in the Austin, Belmont Cragin, Englewood and the Auburn Gresham communities of Chicago. Mark has completed his fifty-three week ministerial training course and presently assists Pastor Carter in all Administration and services of Trinity Ministries.
Melinda Carter
Pastor of Administration
Melinda received her Bachelors of Counseling from Chicagoland Christian Bible Seminary and holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling with a concentration on Communications. As an Honors student, Melinda spent three years as a post-Masters Instructor trainee teaching courses in Communications, Marital & Family Counseling and Theology. Melinda also serves as Secretary of the Illinois Baptist Wives Fellowship and as Treasurer and Assistant Executive Secretary for the Illinois Baptist District Association.
